Sales Disaster

since 3-4 weeks sales dropped 40-50% but traffic up around 20%

sales dropped on both, ccbill & nats

i am using my old ccbill admin so its not a WMS problem.

has someone else the same problem ?

jscott 03-10-2010 11:03 PM

I had a great month for February, but every since the calendar clicked over to March, all my ratios have doubled or tripled :( I'm making almost no money this month, fucking disaster? YES!!!!

riemens 03-11-2010 05:35 AM

january was my best month ever. first 10 days of february was also great but after sales going down down down

jscott 03-11-2010 05:44 AM

FYI, this week my overall ccbill stats are climbing to 1:8500 now :(

daizzzy 03-11-2010 06:10 AM

exactly the same thing. we've 2.5k of referred ccbill webmasters and 03/10 they have made record low for the year. it's like 3x times less then usual. i get almost rebills only.
but it's not ccbill, the same thing with programs using autonomous back-end or nats with segpay billing. epoch stats sales never were high for me, so i can't say about that. but huge drop is everywhere

riemens 03-11-2010 03:45 PM

i got in the last 36 hours 1 fucking sale thats all :(
its time to take a free day and drink some beer and whisky :D

cheers :p

jscott 03-11-2010 05:27 PM

well shit, i'm on vacation, so enjoying my vacation is kept minimal with the worries of my biz going from 1:1000/2000 to 1:8000/9000

makes me wonder, can i even fucking afford this vacation! :(

riemens 03-11-2010 06:37 PM

are you going to visit kiev?
where do you live most of time?

laskavo prosumo :D

NylonMichelle 03-11-2010 07:34 PM

Jan & Feb also were below average for me, but I also had little time to work due to moving to a new appartment. But I made few sales from a stolen password site. Strongbox of course disabled the compromised password immediately, so the password site moved it to the public/free area. That send a shitload of traffic and with all the wrong password tries, I could see that some finally joined my site :-)

i hate this password sites. but its no problem if you have a protection like yours.

btw. we must also moving in the next 2 months. our landlord want 500 bucks more every month for rent. and i dont want pay it for this house.

but for moldova its normal if you are german , american etc... they only want your money (not all but the most people)

Suckerpunch 03-12-2010 02:01 PM

I was on vacation in the Dominican the last week of February and haven't been able to get back into the groove of working since then.... lol

Conversions for March have been decent for me (1:1,150) and I've sent about the same traffic as I was in February. I'm not happy with sales overall as I'm down about 30% over last year but have seen things recovering as I focus on microniche stuff.

If you're making less money doing the same old thing, its time to do something different ;)

+1

i am working on it

riemens 03-12-2010 03:18 PM

WTF, its hard to see only few sales last days. but now i got 3 chargebacks and all from big sales.

NylonMichelle 03-12-2010 05:32 PM

riemens, you can move to Tiraspol :-) you can get a nice 3 room appartment for 100 U$ :-)

riemens 03-12-2010 05:52 PM

yes i know tiraspol is much cheaper as chisinau. but all our friend are locatet in chisinau. its easy to meet because only some kilometer.

i if i move to triraspol is must every time when i want to chisinau pass the boarder.

js69 03-12-2010 06:03 PM

How much does it cost to rent or buy a nice house around there?

riemens 03-12-2010 06:05 PM

it cost lots of money. take a look here

http://rental.md/

js69 03-12-2010 06:46 PM

That is quite pricey. What is there to do in Chisinau? I looked at pictures of the city and it looks like an old east bloc town. I lived in the Soviet Union for three years, and I don't think I would like to go back to that. Is it fun at night?

riemens 03-12-2010 07:01 PM

i must say , i am one of the germans they dont like his country, stupid politicals and too much laws.......

a friend say come to moldova and try your luck........., have found my wife here and now living here. but we want move out in next 1-2 years.

riemens 03-12-2010 07:02 PM

btw, now we are totally off topic.
but is ok lets talk :)

jscott 03-12-2010 10:55 PM

up to 1:13,000 ccbill this week :(

riemens 03-13-2010 10:36 AM

omg , that is a very bad ratio.

btw: got today the 4th chargeback (6 month sale) so my earnings today are $ -68

cots 03-23-2010 11:54 AM

It's a weird month here. Of course the first two weeks were killed by the CCBill problem but things had picked up a bit. On my affiliate side conversion (raw clicks) had dropped back to 1:520 which is ok but on Sunday it was 1:4765!!!! WTF?. Yesterday was modest.

Unlike some here our "non CCBill" side is doing really well. I am getting regular s/ups via NATS sponsors via excellent conversion rates.

So as usual it's all over the place but we will see what the last few days of the month bring.

Suckerpunch 03-25-2010 04:52 AM

Thought I would commiserate with my peers.

This week has been a disaster for me. My ratio from the 1st to 20th was 1:1,183. Currently at 1:5,358. Sales down 70% overall. Hoping the second half of the week improves as these are my worst stats *ever*

jscott 03-25-2010 08:39 AM

goddamn chris, that is horrible man :( sorry to hear that,

Suckerpunch 03-25-2010 11:59 AM

Truthfully I'm not too worried. My freelance business is having it's best week ever so one compensates for the other.

I spent a few hours looking over stats last night and the funny thing is that Google gave me a huge amount of love on Sunday and search traffic on some of my blog increases by as much as 600% per day. Since then my sales have tanked. Go figure :)

cots 03-25-2010 04:35 PM

Very slow here too this week. That goes for my paysites and galleries. Down 35% on an average week and incredibly slow so far today
