Changing Our Affiliate Programme - Opinions Please!

For quite a few years now Astrid's Angel Cash has been our affiliate programme. Over the years we have become less and less "Astrid" as we have added new sites -

jansnylonsex
desyrasnylonsex
saffysglamourfetish

We now have at least one, and maybe two more sites to add, so I am thinking of changing the "brand" etc to something all encompassing and generic. With it will come a brand new affiliate site.

I am torn - should we carry on as is and just build the new site under the same brand/domain, or totally start again (with as little disruption/change i.e all current galleries as is).

I hope that makes sense lol!

I may be in the minority, which is par for the course, but as an affiliate I don't care what you call the affiliate program. My only concerns are whether the sites convert and whether promo content is updated regularly.

That said, if your focus is attracting new affiliates then a rebranding and relaunch is a nice excuse to post the news all over the webmaster boards. For existing affiliates, just link the old webmaster area to the new one.

That's pretty much as I thought Toby.

We need more affiliates, especially in a wider range of niches, so maybe a rebrand (but retaining all the old links/galleries etc will help us achieve that.

good about that! Make sure if you do rebrand, assure affiliates that no link changes are necessary. We LOVE to see that :)

But yes, I agree, maybe rebranding could be good. I was actually doing a linking revamp recently on a network of tgps I just bought, and was a bit confused about... (actually, i was confused about the desyrasnylonsex, mixed up with desyranoir, oops, that is my fault)

but FYI

I agree with Jscott and Toby. Rebranding is a great excuse to ramp up promotion and make it fetish specific.

etc etc

Angel Cash isn't down JS - the link to the site is http://astridsangelcash.com/affwelcome.html at the moment. That's where all our webmaster links go.

Desyra's Nylon Sex has always been a problem for us. When we agreed to take on a new site for Desyra, it was on the basis that Desyra Noir would also come under our wing or it would close. Then it didn't , then it was supposed to again, then it didn't and on and on. In September I received a mail saying could we take it over immediately as there were problems. I said yes, the heard nothing in reply. Then two new Desyra sites popped up, then a new affiliate site. The saga goes on.

Basically we have given up on Desyra's Nylon Sex because her husband never, ever sticks to his word and we are now totally pissed off at being jerked about!
