It was partly I believe. I think John (Sonia's affiliate guy) and Jilly King were also involved

hmmmmm. I think you are right. Her twitter feed has been abandoned and still has links to classic ladies on it. All the whois from her site is lady sonia stuff. I don't know much about John apart from drive by postings when yet another new strategy was launched.
Interesting that at a time when JT is shedding traffic management to Manwin and building new content websites, that they are divesting of stuff.
Strange times.

Given the way the Dec. 1 compliance was handled on the flagship, I'm guessing they decided to shutter the site rather than invest the time to cull the database. Any Lady Sonia FHGs over a month old were 404. Non compliant thumbs would need to be redone. Time consuming but not overwhelming. The choice seems to say more about the revenue generated, or lack thereof.

A couple of other TGP sites that John runs, perhaps on his own, are still operating as before.

I thought Ian King ran Vixen Domme and Premier Fetish? I have chatted with him a few times. Nice guy. Both those sites are still up and running and showing full on hardcore stuff.

Interesting. I'm pretty sure I went thru John to set up my traffic trades with both of those sites. It's been years though, so maybe the memory is wrong.

However, I find it odd that the affiliate ID on Lady Sonia galleries on both of those sites match the default ID inserted into FHG links in SoniaCash email notices about new galleries, 403476
