Anyone doing Mainstream?
 

Anyone into mainstream on this site or thinking about it?

As a model for my own site, I've never thought of doing a paysite as long term. And 8 years into it, I'm itching for a new challenge. I've got a few mainstream ideas that I'm working on and was curious if anyone else on this board dabbles in mainstream.

I started a restaurant and hotels review site for the place I'm living now. It makes about $1/month and it's a site pr3, 1 million alexa, gets about 100 uniques/day 90% from google.

My friend made a mainstream dating site, it's very profitable.

I recently bought a gifs/jpgs hosting website, working on it a lot lately, hoping to make it profitable within a couple years :)

I have some mainstream sites that are doing well... Gold commodity related sites are making a decent buck via Adsense and Clickbank.

I'm trying to break into mainstream, but I'm not having much success at it yet. Probably because I still have to put more time and effort into the adult side of things, and so only dabble in mainstream.
