Refunds And Chargebacks

We are seeing a huge uplift in refunds/chargebacks so far in 2015 (via CCBill). On very similar sales year on year with 2014, refunds and chargebacks are up 149%!

The main culprit is chargebacks.

So do we assume credit card fraud is growing at a huge rate, or is it members who understand the system and commit fraud, or a combination of both?

Either way it's a total pisser - discuss!

I checked my combined CCBill numbers across all aff accounts, results are inconclusive.
2014 - 2 refunds and 1 charge back.
2015 YTD - 1 refund.

Nothing unusual here. Same as it ever was. Maybe its just bad luck. I hope it gets better. Good luck.

Yes, same here... didn't notice any huge difference... hope it will get better for you in the near future :)

cant confirm that as well
in 2014 i had 6 refunds and 3 chargebacks but on 1300 Sales

This month my affiliate stats I have 10 refunds/chargebacks :( :( :(

It seems like shit is getting worse and worse

Oil, holy shit you have a great chargeback/refund rate. Very low! (compared to mine :( )

I hardly get any refunds/chargebacks at my "free" sites.

One follow up though. Over the weekend Jan's Nylon Sex had a ton of denials. They all had one thing in common - all the applicants names were women! Now I am not saying women don't like Jan - but I suspect something was amiss and it was all fraudulent stuff!

i think there are in general stupid rules for Chargebacks,
i do mostly REV on all programs, and had this once on a none ccbill program where i had a CB for 150 dollar,

so i asked the sponsor whats going on here, and they said according to visa regulations the customer is allowed to chargeback several months, i think it was up to 12 if i recall correct.

kinda scary that they can use your site for 12 months and then get all money returned to them
