Beer And Bollocks closing

Old British adult webmaster forum Beer and Bollocks has closed it's doors:
http://www.beerandbollocks.com/

that’s all folks!
We should probably have turned this fucker off a couple years ago, but hey ho – better late than never!
If we liked you, then thanks a million for all your support over the years!
Sign of the times in this business. :(

That forum has been dead for years. The posters there just fell apart and drifted away. I think many had been failing for years.

Yeah true, just like everything else, slowly but surely (some quickly but surely) phasing out, winding down, and then closing their doors

Which ones would you consider the best forums to be active on these days (a part from this one of course)?

jscott 07-02-2016 04:50 AM

I think just about all forums have declined in activity, by.... rough estimate, maybe 70% since 5+ years ago :(

My guess for most active adult forums....
1. gfy
2. blackhatadult

.. then a bunch mostly dormant forums... then..

3. asianwebbies, iq69 & legwebmasters

then all the rest, maybe 1 post per week, greenguysboard, mediumpimpin, foogie, tranny-masters, sponsorchat, digital point adult forum

some that have completely turned off, closed down are now BeerAndBollocks, AskDamageX, JustBlowMe (now spammy picture forum)

Anyone know others that are still alive and kicking?

Defo XBiz. Some great threads on there and gas improved markedly since some trolls were kicked off.

Beer & Bollocks was predominantly English and the webmasters were scared to death of the new ATVOD laws that came out. Many closed their doors because of the threat, others scaled back, some transferred the business offshore.

Ahh yea, i had an old Xbiz acct but then they migrated their forum over to .net http://www.xbiz.net/index.php?c=discussion.list

Ynot never seemed too busy anytime i've gone there. Maybe i'll join it today and take a more thorough look there

I looked at a lot of their business models and I have to say, that though perhaps atvod put the nail in the coffin, it was inevitable. And they were a bunch of curmudgeons.
