CCBill - Chargebacks - WTF?????

Just looked at my CCBill stats for yesterday (2nd Jan) and there were 13 chargebacks in one day! 9 were for just one (very good) site/sponsor at Glamour Images. 9 In a day?

Total chargebacks came to $294.66 - in one day!

What the fuck is that all about? Did it happen to anyone else?

Oh and a very Happy New Year to you all by the way :)

Whoa, sounds like a scammer. That sucks.

No chargebacks here in the last few days. Only 2 chargebacks and 3 refunds total for all of 2012.

Fuck what a terrible stats day for you man :(
Sorry to hear about it.

As far as chargebacks are concerned Toby it was more that I had in 2011 and 2012 added together. It was the 9 for one site/sponsor that was the killer and all in one day. CCBill were their usual blase selves - "It happens" was all they said. Well that's funny - it's never, ever happened before! Tosspots!

I am not going to name the site JS as it's clearly not their fault. They must be as gutted as me!

Never heard of something like it... terribly sorry for you :(

I bet it was just ONE customer...

That has happened to us before. It sucks, but it happens. Having your own merchant account is a good idea it is easier to monitor transactions. I wouldn't be without one.

I agree JS but it's too complicated for us because of our banking/residential status. It was just the way CCBill accepted it that really pissed me off. More over we never had a day where we had 9 sign ups for one sponsor so how teh hell did we get 9 chargebacks for them in one day other than if rebills were involved.

Oh well - onwards and upwards!

Most probably rebills were involved...once we had a chargeback that involved 6 rebills (that's 6 months) ...
