Default CCBill Refund Issue

Here is a heads up on a possible CCBill Refund issue.

Yesterday we had a $59.99 refund. As usual I felt pissed by it, so checked the records for that member at CCBill. Imagine my surprise when I found that the refund had been processed - BUT THE MEMBER WAS STILL ACTIVE FOR ANOTHER 10 WEEKS!

I have contacted CCBill and the member has been manually removed (I hope) but clearly there is a possible bug in their system. It's bad enough giving back any refund, but to then have the same member getting 10 weeks member access for free is not funny!

I really do try not to badmouth CCBill but is it a coincidence that their admission of "outages" last Friday coincided with a massive drop off in sales this week? It was good of them to admit a problem that day, but maybe not so good if the effects have a longer term impact.

I don't have enough hard data to lay the blame at their feet but there has to be a "conspiracy theory" somewhere here?
