Yesterday we had seven sign ups in thirty minutes via CCBill. Great, you might say. Not so. Every "member" was from Mexico (not one of our biggest markets) then within 30 mins I got my first "suspended" user report from Password Sentry. Checked the data and none of the IPs/hits were from Mexico.
I blocked all the user names immediately, reported the whole thing to CCBill and they said it was fraud. All the money was refunded
Better to do it now than refunds chargebacks down the line.
Did this or similar happen to anyone else?
