Default Miss Hybrid - Payment problems

Waiting for a chunky payment. No payments made since she set up her own affiliate site/programme.

Why, oh why do sponsors move away from CCBill if they don't have the time to manage their own affiliate systems properly?

I don't get it also. I wonder if some join their own system for that reason. I'd believe it, with how many normal people have become scammers in this biz.

Geoff, check your PMs. I sent you a one on this topic back in July, then a follow up in Aug.

To summarize, in mid July I contacted her re: payment for sales through period ending May 31, which should have been paid via Paxum shortly after July 1.
She'd not paid anyone via Paxum at that point. It took some back a forth, sending her a requested invoice, and a wait of another couple of weeks for her to get her Paxum account funded, but I did finally get paid for sales through June 30.

In the mean time I'd pulled all links. Not going to jump through hoops to get paid, especially from a program that is no longer making many sales or providing regular promo content updates. I did quite well with sales while she was using CCBill, but that dropped to trickle when she switched to her own affiliate system.

Default Invoice

There are no payment problems. Simply send me an invoice and you will be paid.

But, there's nothing saying that in your affiliate terms. No one knows until they realize they've not been paid. Not sure why an invoice is necessary, some new law I've not heard about?

Your affiliate tracking software should generate a report at the end of each month telling you which affiliates have met minimum payout, and how much they're owed. That gives you a full month to fund necessary accounts before payments are sent.

Even if it's in the terms, that is a once in a lifetime situation, in affiliate marketing, having to send invoice to get paid? What the hell?

Miss Hybrid, if you don't mind me asking, what does your program have different from thousands of others now, and in the past that makes affiliates sending an invoice for payments necessary?

This is the reason I use CC Bill. Personally, I have my plate full running websites, shooting videos, and blah blah to worry about paying affiliates. CC Bill looks after that and I have never missed a payment nor had any complaints. It is just one less thing to worry about. BTW, our new VR site is just about ready for prime time.
Sales since free porn day and our new site look have been brisk and I am cautiously optimistic that vr will be a hit.

To satisfy my accountant as per UK tax regs now that my affiliate program is self run. As you are probably aware some other companies request invoices for tax compliance purposes.

I don't like it personally, but fair enough I guess, as long as stated in TOS then is fair game. (and I do see your TOS says it right there)

Quote:
Affiliate must send an invoice for the ammount due in relation to the terms below. The invoice must include name, address affiliate ID the time period covered and the ammount of compensation due.

Payments will be made within 14 days of receipt of the invoice.

It's there now, but it wasn't when I looked at the TOS back in July. I specifically read the line directly above that, as the hold time between end of period and payout was what I was specifically looking for.

It's a detail that should have been noted in an email to affiliates, and could have easily been included in an email announcing new promo content. I'll wager there are a fair number of affiliates that are due payments, but are not aware they need to send an invoice to get paid. Perhaps it would be wise to make such an announcement on GFY before more peeps complain.

Ya, i think they/she should go the extra mile announcing about this on GFY, mailing affiliates, and making sure every affiliate of theirs understands this totally.
(if they haven't already)

All my mails to you bounce back, which is why I posted the issue here. Like Toby I had no idea I even had to raise an invoice. I also find it frustrating that I cannot seem to access my full account profile to check/edit settings.

How should I get an invoice to you?

It's my affiliate address "mickey@glamourimages.net" that keeps getting bounced. I will try with the aawebmaster one.
