JB Video galleries all down

Looks like JB Video galleries are all going 404. Webmaster page says "Under Construction".

I never got an email saying the galleries were being removed. Did anyone else?

This comes just after they reduced payouts from 50% to 35% a little while ago. Looks like another one getting ready to bite the dust.

Their hosted galleries sucked, so I downloaded the pics and made my own. But even with the new tour conversions are minimal, so not going to bother making more.

Yeah, I have some that I made myself too but I still used a bunch of their hosted galleries. It just sucks that they couldn't at least notify affiliates about galleries being removed.

35% affiliate cut, and not notifying affiliates of the changes (fhgs offline), I'll never promote their sites

The percentage doesn't bother me so much, as long as the site converts and retains VERY well. Which is definitely NOT the case with JB.

Gwen Media used to pay only 35%, some years ago before the founder died suddenly and the site nearly closed. It was one of my top earning sponsors because it converted like crazy and rebilled like a sumbitch. It all comes down to $$/unique.

what is crazy, is the guy has some of the BEST content around, but does not seem to care much about affiliates. I agree w/ toby, his galleries suck, and always have, and i host my own galleries with his content, but shocking the site does not generate more sales. I saw the upgrades he did to the members area, i applaud that, but the price point I think is to blame.

blah, it's bad everywhere people. I am going through my mainstream porn sites because I am building yet another index right now and out of 334 sites I had linked Dec 2010, going through them again this past week, 78 are gone in the wind, 404 or just redirects now.

As an aside. They don't know when it will be opened up to new affiliates looking to join. Oh well look else were I suppose!

I have promoted JBVideo for a long time but always by building my own galleries from downloaded material. I am not a fan of 9 pic galleries anyway.

Interestingly I had a good month with them in May. In my Top 20 converters in fact.

It always intrigues me as to why sites go up and down from a conversion point of view. A site can be awesome then crap. I have two sites now that haven't had a sale for over three months - 9,000 clicks apiece - prior to that they converted at 1:400 or better (raw clicks). WTF?

On that subject I know many of you guys promote LadyB/Legsworld so what are you seeing with them? Conversions from my sites have dropped to ridiculous levels. Used to be way up there with my very, very best affiliates then went on a major downturn. Now I struggle to get any sales at all!

I tried promoting LadyB a few years ago, figured it should do well with my high heel and boot fetish traffic. WRONG! I struggled to make sales. Same with a couple of other Verotel sponsors I tried during the same time frame.

If I had to take a stab at one of the main reasons for your declining numbers it would probably be LadyB's reduced roll on the site.

I think LadyB is a bit played out.
