Best way to get new affiliates?

What have people found is the best way to get new affiliates?

We get a steady trickle of new ones but would like a lot more.

On another note I recently sent out my affiliate update newsletter and there are two scary things considering I only mailed the file around two weeks ago -

The number of sites (mainly TGPs/blogs) that seem to have closed in just 14 days

The number of "greylisted" notifications

How do you avoid "greylisting" or do you simply put up with it?

I would say, just make sure you are on every board and every thread about affiliates wanting legs/nylon etc niche sponsors, make sure you post your link and info in all

Show that you are active, updating, and willing to work with all affiliates and that you're easy to get in touch with

that and make sure you are accommodating to specs 98% of webmasters need to import efficiently to their CMS's

Greylisting (or graylisting) is a method of defending e-mail users against spam. A mail transfer agent (MTA) using greylisting will "temporarily reject" any email from a sender it does not recognize. If the mail is legitimate the originating server will, after a delay, try again and, if sufficient time has elapsed, the email will be accepted. If the mail is from a spam sender, sending to many thousands of email addresses, it will probably not be retried.

As ALL my affiliates have signed up, given me their email addresses and had a welcome mail (with the option to respond etc) then why should my email address be "not recognised"

Guess I will just have to keep on trying

I confess I don't think we do that very well at the moment.

We want to have a full on site for Astrid's Angel Cash so I am starting to look at various gallery management packages for implementation towards the middle of the year - any recommendations?

One surprising thing is that with every update we send to affiliates we offer custom content galleries for specific niches but I don't think I have ever had one request. We are happy to help but need the feedback.
