Everyone that tried it says it's incredibly amazing, so it will surely be the future. But for now it looks like a toy reserved to those people that can afford it. Afford to produce it and afford to consume it.

But yeah...i do see pontential in fetish as well!
I watched 20 thousand dollars just whiz by me....and the fat lady is not even singing.

Jeezus, $20k and no fatty singing, FUCKKKKKKK

Well, lets hope technology catches up to allow it to be more affordable for production and consumers.

I'm watching very closely.

Can someone explain what makes this so much different than all the prior versions of "3D" that have been touted as "the future", but ended up being nothing more than just another gimmick. Better quality alone isn't going to make that much difference, IMO.

Toby. I really can't explain it to you. You have to see it properly. Everyone who does is amazed. Including me. Its jaw dropping. I wasn't going to shoot vr in Prague this year, but when I saw it, I knew it had to be done. Even if you just get some Google cardboard, get a porn trailer on your phone, and watch it, you will get it right away.
If anyone is updating their cell phones, the latest Samsung S7 is fully engaged in this and will give you a gear vr headset for free.

Well.... isn't that going to make it rather difficult to sell to anyone that doesn't already have a VR headset?

What percentage of the current market has VR headsets? What is the current growth rate? What is the projected percentage in a year? Two years?

It may be jaw dropping, but peeps without headsets are going to be a hard sell.

There's no decision to be made on my end... if an affiliate program with decent fetish content offers it, then I'll try promoting it. Little risk on my part, but I'm still skeptical that it will ever be more than a niche market.

Well, to watch internet porn you need a computer. And back when this biz started there was nowhere near the number there are today...and it happened really quickly. I just think this is the evolution of not only porn, but film making. I think people are going to have the equipment to watch really soon. There is way too much money riding on this from the NBA to live streaming vr from this summer's Olympics. This ain't your mom's 3d.

No doubt it will be successful in time. People can produce anything they want but will consumers take it up in enough numbers to make it viable? Who knows. Of course early adopters and tech freaks will be there, but the majority? I am not so sure. According to all major forecasters we are entering another global economic recession. Household disposable incomes are level, if not falling. I assume VR porn isn't going to retail at $24.99 a month lol!

We all moaned about the effect of free porn on our businesses, but people need free porn as they can't afford to buy it as much as they once could.

As for the investment it depends on how you look at it. I can honestly say there is no way we could recover the investment and on going costs. The sales increases required to get a substantial return on that investment isn't going to happen for us I'm afraid. If that means we go out of business because we can't keep up so be it.

One last thing. Naughty America haven't updated their affiliate galleries/content for over 7 months - so I couldn't promote it even if I wanted to!

all this stuff is currently in the advertising phase. NA got huge press and I assume traffic because of that launch.

My point is what they are doing is forward thinking - but at the cost of your current business? Seems arse about face to me.

No Geoff, I would never risk my current business. I have a massive amount of content I haven't even screened yet. I was going to shoot more of it actually, until I saw some vr porn and I just knew.
I will be shooting in Prague next week and vr was originally going to be about ten per cent. Now prolly more like 90.
I am tossing a lot at it, but far from everything. Not even close.

That is either free with a new samsung s7 phone or about 99 bucks in the real world. Huwei is also manufacturing something similar.

That is the device I think will make or break vr for porn.

The thing i find it crazy is that everyone is building its own VR headset...and none is compatible with eachother. Like the samsung gear...if i don't have a samsung i can't use it.

We need compatible stuff in order to really make this big. Maybe it's just too early though

It is just too early. I have been shooting stocking and panty fetish now for half a month and even the shooting of it hasn't been sorted. But damn it looks soooooo horny to be under a girl's skirt, with her stockings, suspenders, and panties within tongue distance....I even get horny watching my own stuff. Even in real life it ain't this good. I originally planned to shoot maybe 25 percent vr, but now its 100.
