ICANN raising domain prices again
Got this today:
On July 1st, VeriSign will be raising the prices for all registrars for .COM and .NET domains. Unfortunately, this decision impacts us and all other domain name registrars, and as a result, we will be raising the cost of all .COM and .NET domains on that date to $9.98 plus $0.18 in ICANN fees. We highly encourage you to buy any domains you need or renew your domains before June 30, 2010 if you wish to add another year to your current expiration dates at the current low rate. Why does all expenses keep rising when income always stays the same

Yep, I got something similar... In the past couple of years cost of domains from me went from $6.99 to $10.00+ and the registrar I use eliminated my bulk registration discount. With several hundred domains this sure as hell adds up. For the first time in years I am letting domains drop that are not developed and don't really fit into my plans.

Yep, I'm letting some expire too, if you havent done anything with a domain for a few years of owning it, probably better to sell or drop it imho
