Superbowl Sunday

Despite being a Brit, I am a huge NFL fan, so I am just as excited about today as I guess my American buds are!

I will be rooting for The Giants today! The Niners are my team but as they are not in The Superbowl, then I am switching to the boys from New York!

The game doesn't start until about 11.30pm UK Tenerife time so it's going to be a long night lol!

Go Giants!!!!

Now JS I really do hate to tell you this but I was at the game you are referring to!!!

It was in The Rosebowl, Pasadena, The Giants beat the Denver Broncos and I was proudly wearing my new LT No 56 game shirt!!! It was the first of three Superbowls that I managed to get to because my family then owned the manufacturing/distribution rights to all NFL domestic textile products for Europe.

As a fanatical NFL fan, and a buyer for the biggest catalogue company in the UK, I persuaded them to take the risk on the licences - and boy did it work!
And it got me to three Superbowls and two Pro Bowls (in Honolulu).

Not bad for a Brit?

Simms, Elway, LT, you lucky mofo!!!!! That was back when I actually had interest in NFL/sports and knew who EVERYONE was hehe (partially also because i was big into card collection haha)

Btw, my friend just sent me the recording of the recent superbowl, I'll watch it soon
