Default Talk about a coincidence

My beloved Mac has been having some problems of late - not many, and not serious. Yesterday it was having major problems though. I didn't think too much about it, just rebooted and carried on.

About 10am (our time) I got a mail from Apple regarding some potential faulty Seagate hard drives in certain IMac models. Ten minutes later my hard drive crashed totally - how spooky is that? I have been using various Macs for nearly 12 years without any problems - not even having to reboot. It can stay on for days, even weeks, at a time. Then this happens. What a coincidence!

Thankfully the drive is being replaced FOC by Apple (paid for by Seagate I guess) so it's just the inconvenience of getting the job done at a dealer - oh and the time taken to fully recover!
