Tut tut Tenerife is one of the Canary Islands situated off the North West coast of Africa. We are technically part of Spain but its a two hour flight from the southern most tip of Spain to Tenerife.

Pretty much all year sunshine as well. We are in the middle of winter here at the moment and it's clear blue skies and currently 24c (or 75f)!

Its minus 5c here at the moment, but the sun is shining and the mountains are blanketed in snow. Its ski season. But 24 sounds nice.

I have lived in the tropics and the desert and they are great. But I like the West Coast climate....most of the time. The thing with climate is, you have to like it most of the time....or get out of Dodge.
I think the most perfect climate I have ever seen is Hawaii.

As the Tenerife Hillbillies say "There's gold in them thar hills - Yellow Gold - Banana Gold! Well they would actually say it in Spanish but my Espanol doesn't quite run to that LOL!

There are bananas everywhere you look. In fact there is a plantation about 200 mtrs from our villa - and we live pretty much in the middle of the tourist area just outside Las Americas.
