Which conference/expo is best

This is probably one for my European based buds.

I am seriously thinking of taking some time out to visit one, maybe two conferences/expos next year. Cost and time probably means they will be based in Europe, so which one(s) should I aim for? Anybody got good/bad stories about any or indeed, are any of them actually worth actually going to?

Well I've always heard Phoenix Forum is by far the best show, best vibes.

You should also consider that Amsterdam Internext show, I've always wanted to hit that up.

Personally though, I like to go to the "gatherings" like what MaDalton just had arranged there in Brno Czech Republic (I REALLY wanted to go)

It really depends on what you're looking to get out of going to a show. I haven't been to any of the European shows, but I can't imagine they're much different than the US shows. Lots of vendor reps, large program owners, and peeps who like an excuse to travel and/or party. Damn few independent site owners or affiliates.
